   It was a fine gig. It was clear that they have mainly ““ maybe almost exclusively ““ traditional acts, so a singer-songwriter was probably a bit of a departure for them. Nevertheless, I believe the good people of Melrose enjoyed the songs ““ at least judging by the warm welcome I was given.

   An old friend turned up, whom I hadn\’t seen for many, many years.

   Thanks to Ron and the good people of The Rolling Hills Folk Club for having me. I hope it\’s not too long…
